Now, if some people could just open their eyes for five minutes and see the iPad for what it really is and not the be-all end-all for all people. It’s the internet device for the rest of us, just like the iPhone is. I bought a Sony Vaio W one week ago. I like it. But it has Windows 7 on it. I hated it from day one but I’ve learned to live with it. A little. Had I known the iPad was just a few months away I would still have bought the little bugger. Because I need it now, but when the iPad arrives the blighted thing is a goner. So, will I use the iPad just to read comics? No, of course not. As an e-boook reader I’m sure it will be aces as well. I’ve read six full length books on my iPhone and with a screen size four times that of the iPhone… well… it’s probably better don’t you think? And it’s got Pages, Mail and Safari The only apps I actually use. So, people who whine about locked-in software, no multitasking and everything else that seems to matter the world to some – buy something else or save your money for the next best thing.
